The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia at the 15th meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic and Trade Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, as well as the Second Conference on Vision of Iran’s Trade and Cultural Cooperation and the North Caucasus Federal District of the Russian Federation, said today in Tehran: The economy required at the state level of both countries has not been signed, including customs cooperation documents.
Saying that the North Caucasus has played an important role in the relations between Iran and Russia over the centuries, Sanai added: “The region is culturally and historically similar to Iran and there has been solidarity between Iran and the North Caucasus.”
The Iranian ambassador to Russia said that the relations between Iran and Russia have been moving in various dimensions in recent years. And it’s a long way from being implemented.
The Iranian ambassador to Russia noted: No important economic documents required at the state level of the two countries have been signed, including customs cooperation documents.
Mr. Sana’i emphasized that there is a good relationship between Iran and Russia in the export sector.
He expressed hope that these capacities would be implemented and that the volume of trade between the two countries would become a leap.
“We hope that an active government secretariat will be formed and that businessmen and the private sector will be in contact with one another,” the Iranian ambassador to the Russian Federation also said, referring to Iran’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union.
